Brief

Sun-Drenched Sophistication. Set against the backdrop of the vibrant Australian climate, this residential project represents the pinnacle of relaxed, high-end living. The design features soft curves, extensive timber joinery, and a seamless flow between spaces. Our objective was to move beyond simple spatial representation and instead capture a lifestyle. We needed to illustrate how the architecture captures natural light through strategic skylights, turning the home into a warm, inviting canvas for daily life.

Challenge

Tactile Materiality. In a space dominated by natural materials, the rendering quality relies entirely on texture. The main challenge was to replicate the warmth and intricate grain of the custom light-timber paneling without it appearing flat or "digital." We focused heavily on microscopic surface details—imperfections, gloss maps, and wood pores. Additionally, simulating the distinct, high-contrast Australian sunlight was crucial to creating dynamic shadows that emphasize the curved geometry of the kitchen and bar areas.
